RETURNS & REFUNDS POLICY

Bijoux De Mimi Returns & Refunds Policy

At Bijoux De Mimi, we’re committed to ensuring you love your jewellery. Our policies for returns, repairs, and exchanges are designed to prioritise quality, fairness, and your satisfaction, all while upholding the highest hygiene standards for jewellery.

1. No Change of Mind Returns

All sales are final. Please choose carefully, as we do not accept returns due to a change of mind unless the item is faulty or incorrect. We have enabled a 3-step-checkout as we are unable to edit addresses or cancel orders. 

2. Incorrect Orders

If you receive an incorrect item, notify us within 7 days. We’ll exchange it or offer store credit once the item is returned in its original, unworn condition. Returns must be received within 14 days of delivery.

3. Faulty or Damaged Items

Within 30 Days: If a fault is reported within 30 days, we can offer a repair, replacement, store credit or refund. A replacement can only be issued once.

Faults include:

  • Snapping chains
  • Dropping stones
  • Items not matching the photo or description.

Video & Photo Evidence Required: To process any claims, we require video or picture evidence of the issue via email and your order number or copy of transaction. 

Beyond 30 Days: No repairs, replacements, refunds, or credits will be offered after 30 days. We can however advise on how to fix the product where applicable. 

4. What’s Not Considered Faulty

Repairs at Home: Some signs of wear can be easily fixed at home or by us and are not eligible for replacement:

  • Loose clasps (watch video here) 
  • Pendants falling off earrings (watch video here)

Colour Changes or Fading: These are natural occurrences due to the nature of materials and are not considered faults. We recommend checking product descriptions for more details on care.

5. Returns Conditions

Items must be unworn, in original condition, and returned with all packaging and documentation.

The customer is responsible for return shipping costs, except in cases where the item is faulty or incorrect.

6. Sample Sale & Free Item Deals

Sample Sale Items: All sample sale items are final and cannot be returned, repaired or replaced in any scenario. 

Sale Items: Sale items below 30% are eligible only for repair or replacement, if proven faulty within 30 days. 

30%+ Sale Items: All items purchased on a sale above 30%, for example during Cyberweek, are final and cannot be returned, repaired or replaced in any scenario. 

Free Item Deals: Items received as part of a promotional deal or as a free gift are not eligible for replacements, repairs, or refunds.

7. Care Guidelines

Please handle your jewellery with care:

  • Avoid exposure to water, perfumes, and chemicals where applicable.
  • Store your jewellery in a cool, dry place.
  • Clean your jewellery gently with a soft cloth.

8. Out of Stock Items

In rare instances where an item is out of stock after purchase:

Options: You can choose to wait for the item to restock, select an alternative product, or receive store credit. A refund will be provided if none of these options are possible.

30-Day Fulfilment Guarantee: If we cannot fulfil your order within 30 days of purchase, we will issue a full refund.

Terms and Conditions for Missing Parcels or Incorrect Delivery Addresses

At Bijoux De Mimi, we strive to ensure your orders are delivered promptly and accurately. However, once your parcel leaves our warehouse, it is in the hands and responsibility of the chosen courier, Royal Mail. Below are our policies regarding missing parcels, in accordance with Royal Mail's guidelines.

1. Parcels Marked as Delivered

Once a parcel is marked as delivered by Royal Mail’s tracking system, we cannot offer any form of compensation or replacement unlessyou can provide clear evidence that it was not delivered to your door. This evidence allows us to make a claim on your behalf with Royal Mail. Evidence must include:

  • A photo of the delivery location as captured by the courier on tracking. 
  • A photo of your door at the entered delivery address for comparison.
  • Proof that the delivery location shown is not the same as your address, such as a map location usually shown on your tracking.
  • Any additional supporting materials relevant to your claim.
  • Evidence of your discussion with Royal Mail, including confirmation from them that the parcel is missing.

Before contacting us, we also request that you:

  • Check with all neighbors or household members who may have accepted the parcel on your behalf.
  • Contact your local delivery office and your postman/postwoman to confirm the parcel’s status.

Please note that word of mouth or verbal statements will not be accepted by Bijoux De Mimi or Royal Mail as evidence. If the courier provides a photo showing the parcel delivered to your door or marks the item as delivered at the address entered at checkout, there is nothing further we can do.

2. Incorrect Shipping Address

If an incorrect or incomplete shipping address was provided at checkout, please contact us immediately. We will offer one of the following solutions:

  • If a non-existent address was entered or you do not have access to the address: The parcel will typically be returned to us by Royal Mail. Once returned, we can issue a replacement.
  • If an existing address was entered and you have access to it:Please notify the relevant recipient and ask them to accept the parcel on your behalf.

If the parcel is not returned to us, we cannot offer a replacement or refund.

3. Parcels Missing in Transit

If a parcel is deemed missing in transit and tracking information does not confirm delivery within 14 days of fulfillment for UK orders or 30 days for international orders:

  • Contact us with evidence of your tracking information and proof of the missing parcel.
  • If Royal Mail confirms the parcel is lost, we will provide a replacement and file a claim using the provided evidence.

Please note that word of mouth or verbal statements will not be accepted as evidence. If the courier provides a photo showing the parcel delivered to your door or marks the item as delivered at the address entered at checkout, there is nothing further we can do.

In all cases, detailed evidence will be required to process any claims.

4. Required Customer Action

For any claims regarding missing parcels, please provide the following:

  • Your order number.
  • Any tracking information you have received.
  • A statement describing the issue (e.g., marked as delivered but not received).
  • Clear evidence in alignment with the clauses outlined above.
